Leonie is a BD, U21 and PARA trainer and her clients range from people who just ride for fun on fat hairy cobs to advanced horses and International Junior riders. Over the years Leonie has picked up training techniques from some of our top riders and trainers including Gareth Hughes, David Trot, Ferdi Eilberg, Lucy Farrer, Mette & Michelle Assouline & Michael Beining. Every Horse and rider combination are different so a sympathetic approach is needed, some people want to learn and have a nice easy fun lesson where as others are more serious and want to have a very demanding technical lesson. All Leonie's lessons are focused on improving the horse and riders knowledge in a friendly logical way allowing the rider to fully understand the scales of training and how they apply to their horse. Lessons are made quite simple so you come away with a clear understanding of what to work on with your horse in the next week or so. If a horse doesn't understand any of the tasks then we make it simpler for them until they can then progress onto the next stage. International horse Absolut is now available for lessons for riders of novice standard and upwards. He is a real gentleman and will give you the feeling you are riding like Anky or Isabell !!!! He is a top competition horse with the temperament of a saint! Schoolmaster lessons are an invaluable way to be able to learn how a dressage horse should really feel so you can help improve your own horse.
