DANESWOOD DRESSAGE

Well still no news from the planning office, what with the planning officer being on holiday (again) and a few more bits of information needed we are hoping to get a decision on October 13th but I am not holding my breath!!! My wonderful architect is doing all he can to try and get things done on time but when you have been waiting 14 months what is another month to wait!!!

Jack has been to his first few parties and has been better than I could ever have hoped for. At Solihull RC he got 70% in his first prelim and the judge Martine Galland got out the car to say he was just fabulous! We also had a go at a Novice at Bromyard test riding clinic with Harry Payne and he was again very well behaved and Harry was very complimentory about him. I am not in a rush with him but as he seems to be taking everything in his stride I thought I would have a go at some music and see what happens!

Dawn has had a well earned break for two reasons. One as she has gone from novice to nearly PSG in a few months and two as I have been so busy teaching it has been hard to fit everything in!! I have also had some really nice horses in for schooling so unless I ride at midnight I am running out of hours in the day!!! Bonnie has been a little star and getting better and better marks at Medium level. She is now for sale and I am really hoping we can find a nice little rider for her as she is such an awesome pony.
Clients have also been doing really well this month with Jill Riely deserving a special mention for her great performance at the Veteran champs and coming 2nd in her first ever elementary, a goal she has had for years! Trish Wright also deserves a mention for getting 69% and 72% on her gorgeous stallion Alco and Holly Bradley also started her affiliated carer with the stunning Mesenero and is well on her way to qualifying for the Pet plans joining Rhia Bell, Michelle Depper, Carolin Gibbs and Claire Radclif. Good luck to everyone going to Vale View and Pencoid!!

Sue Palmer is next at Chorley for a physio clinic on the 11th November, there is one or two spaces left so book now if you want to come over. I can't speak more highly of Chorley Equestrian - Hailey runs the yard so beautifully. The horses are very happy and look fabulous. There are a few spaces for schooling livery but the yard is now filling up fast so if you are interested get booked in soon!

I have been busy this month creating some freestyles for some quite famous people so I am quite excited that my music may be getting a national title very soon!! I also have a new fantastic new ride called Captain Magnificent who I will be hopefully qualifying for the elem freestyle this month - Watch this space!!!
