JUDGES SEMINAR

Leonie was invited to take Caitano and be a guinea pig for the judges training seminar at Inter I. Held by Isabel Wessels and David Trot the day was very informative and gave Leonie a really good idea of what the judges are looking for at this level. We got some really good comments about our changes which both Isabel and David thought deserved an 8 but need to put some more work into out pirouettes which were our weakest movement. Lots to work on for Nationals!!

A big thank you to Michelle Depper Westwood and Holly Bradley for letting me ride their wonderful horses Mesenero and Classic Samphire at Field House EC. Isabel Wessels held the judges seminar and discussed both horses paces. Mesenero was impeccably behaved as this was his first ever show and he was cool as a cucumber as the judges all waved A4 pieces of paper with numbers on to give him a mark! Classic Samphire was very happy to be showing off in front of so many people and was awarded nearly all 8's for his test and a few 9's Most of the judges wanted to take him home and Isabel said he was the perfect example of a Happy athlete!! I am very pleased with both boys and Michelle and Holly are thrilled to own such superstars!!!
